Service Description
Loss of volume in the face and lips is a natural part of the ageing process. Dermal fillers act to re-contour and restore volume not only in the mid-face but in the lips and is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures to date. It is commonly administered using a fine needle or cannula and works to improve facial symmetry and restore a natural youthfulness. Mid face fillers can also help to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and commonly creates a lifting effect. Different types of filler are used to create different effects within the face and when used correctly can last up to 12 months. I use only Juvederm products which include a local anaesthetic, further minimising any potential discomfort. Recent events have led to concerns regarding the use of fillers post Covid 19 vaccination, however the reported side effects are extremely small and current guidelines issued to medical professionals are that we should wait at least 3 weeks, before or after, a filler treatment before you have the vaccine.
